iAliens for Reddit App Reviews

Definitively the best Reddit client

Effective side menu, quick and simple access to everything and clean interface.

My Favorite Reddit Client

I use this app already for a year and it works quite well! No problems with any bugs that cause crashes. It is all set up very simple and minimalistic, but just as simple as reddit already is ;)

Garbage

Garbage app crashes all the time dont download it.

They made me do this

Gghvv

Awesome

There are a few shortcomings but its definitely more stable than alien blue.

Gushing can

Baghdad and you know that

Cool

Force shutdown still an issue. Big gifs load until the end of the loading bar and then the app force shuts down. Highly annoying.

nice!

and fast

Disnt like it

Most of the posts dont load, especially the pics.

Terrible - i miss alien blue

Crashes all the time, constantly shows posts that you already saw as you scroll, annoying flashing ads at the bottom, cant open things in browser (which would load content MUCH faster than their app, which takes forever, and upon completing on one you waited a particularly long time on, almost always crashes). Also opens text posts as a browser link (still in the app). Very annoying. Alien blue is better in every way!

Constantly Crashes

Crashes for anything. Gif? Crash. Article? Crash. Video? Crash. Image? Crash. Comment section? Sometimes crash.

Good, but...

I really enjoy iAlien. It has a slick design that makes it easy to read text subreddits, but it does sometimes load pictures or videos slowly. It even crashes while loading pictures every once a while. If it wasnt for that, this would be perfect.

Crashes more than any app Ive ever used

Literally. Have not used an app that crashes more. The worst part is when something takes 20 seconds to load and THEN crashes.

Faulty opening of .Gif/JPEG

This app is great, until you try to open an imgur file. Aka an essential part of Reddit. After opening the third imgur file the app shuts down and quits on you. Yeah, maybe this doesnt seem like the worst problem, but let me tell you the "never ending" Reddit that produces it self at random is the SHEER INAFFABLE definition of UTTER FAILURE.

Wrote this to stop notifications

It crashes sometimes and constantly asks for ratings, its okay.

Crashes a lot

This app constantly crashes, takes forever to load content. Then right before it loads, it crashes. Horrible working app

Mediocre app

Crashes often and then has the balls to interrupt me to ask for a review.

Lesser of Evils

The app is a well designed, convenient way to browse reddit. HOWEVER, as others mentioned it crashes a bunch. Also, the reason Im writing this review: I am tired of the ads that swap apps from reddit to my browser (you know, the ones that take you to Amazon or some other googleads sponsored shaz), especially when that redirects me to the AppStore... Sometimes this is just an inconvenience, other times it is infuriating as the reddit app reloads fresh and I have to *hope* I starred the thing I was on or run back through a bunch of posts to find it. I would much rather an ad bar or pop up than to be taken out of app into another one. By taking me out of app without my choosing it makes me feel like my control over the device I purchased has been taken away, and I do not like that Ill give more stars once this is fixed. The glitches and crashes are meh but survivable. UPDATE: the crashes have become more frequent, large images or gifs try to load then stall and crash the app, they added banner ads AND kept the shitty redirect ads. Im going to try Reddits official app...

Horrible App

Constantly freezes and barely works as advertised.

Keeps shutting down

Crashes and shuts down almost immediately upon opening. Please fix! iPhone 5s, iOS updated.
